Left Click on SIM not working

Hello Everyone, Im encoutering a very weird bug. I start a new save and after some time which seems very random im no longer able to left click one of my 2 sims. Means the action menu is not showing anymore while on my other sim its still working flawlessly. 

 

Does anybody have an idea what could be the issue?

I've seen this issue periodically. I'm uncertain why it occurs, but it's usually temporary. The sim is always a passer by and when they reappear later there's no issue.

Its my main sim and not just some random tho

When I play as that SIM I can't click on myself however when I play the Housemate it works.

Screenshot? I'm thinking that something could be happening with the game thinking your character is in the middle of some activity which is limiting your options.
