Appreciate if some kind person would give me some pointers on how to extract these files. I have copied all 4 files to their own folder. Assuming that 001 is the first of the part files I tried extracting the file with both 7 Zip and WinRar but Zip says that the 001 file is not an archive and WinRar says that the 001 file is corrupt.  Just in case I tried extracting each of the other files in order but to no avail.  I've had no problems with the other mods just this one. Many thanks

You are doing it right.  When he compressed it with 7zip he messed up the file.  Nothing wrong on your end.  Hopefully we get a reupload.
