fluttershy25 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 so everything goes stiff, once an animation starts, so no more swinging balls. i don't know what i did, but they suddenly stop working, not sure if load order changes is making it go stiff during animations or some file that messed with physics config or something? and the more i think about it, i think the good flopiness just stop working out of animation too, its just like, kinda floaty, everything is?

traison Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 How about some generic info? Which physics engine are you using? More than one at the same time? Versions. Which physics engine handles SOS dongs? Which dong is not working during animations? Regular, muscular, ...? 1

Versions. Which physics engine handles SOS dongs? Which dong is not working during animations? Regular, muscular, ...? all the dongs, smurfs, regular muscular and the futa sos one. used to all work perfectly fine a few saves ago. body i just use bhunp and for males just SOS regular. umm...think the engine it used was just the one that one linked with it, at the SE page for it, called SOS SE HDT-SMP files. im not that smart when it comes to all of this i just been lucky? i guess. i have been modding skyrim for years, and just followed the requirements for things, and any goof i did i'll figure it out, but this got me stomped, as i did my usual "fixes" and nothing. also use a physic engine for the bhunp body, called CBPC - CBP Physics with Collision, its like only for the female bod? since my manager says it doesn't touch SOS at all. my game version is still the most recent SE Skyrim before the forced doo doo AE update. 1.5.97 or something. i just know once i heard of that stupid shit of a forced update, i went and did things so steam can't download the update and i can still play it, with no problems
traison Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Your mod manager is not going to know if both CBPC and SMP affect the same bones. Mod managers only point out direct file conflicts (same file name in 2 or more mods) or maybe potential esp/esm overwrites (most likely through LOOT). I'm going to guess that since you said physics appear different in general (also outside animations) that what you have there is most likely a physics conflict, CBPC and SMP both trying to manipulate the same bone. As for things changing when an animation starts, well there's apparently a mod around that disables physics for animations. The other option is that the dong mesh changes when an animation starts, and the new mesh has different weigthpainting or uses different bones that are not affected by either CBPC or SMP. If you don't feel like reading up on the CBPC and SMP physics profile formats then all I can pretty much suggest is for you to clean up your physics profile files. And by clean up I mean simplify. Start by mapping out overrides. What is overriding SOS physics files, what is overriding BHUNP physics files etc. Remove the things you don't need right now and test again. 1
traison Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Assuming you do have both physics engines, you could disable one of them entirely by removing the dll file, and figure out which one is managing what. Disable SMP for instance, and see if the physics improved. I find that SMP is generally the one that will appear "floaty". Another test would be to see if the SL erection up/down keys work during animation, unless you already know for sure that its still a SOS dong you see during animations. If this is not the case then you need to figure out what body it switched to for animations. Do you for instance have the nude bodies option checked in SL, or another mod that implements a similar feature. 1

fluttershy25 Posted September 22, 2022 Author Posted September 22, 2022 shit since you are mad helpful, i have another question tho. like i have dirt and blood mod, it just add blood and dirt things on me, but would just poof in and out if cum or magic effects shows on me and vice versa. i think that might just be too much tats on me? i don't have much of tats, just like two body ones, which are scales and 3 face ones. the rest of my body has a lot of open slots for effects. no need to answer this tho, since you've done enough for me, very much thankful
traison Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 SL cum layers do not use RaceMenu overlays. It competes with vanilla overlays such as that applied by the Oakflesh spell. Some weather mods have an effect that applies a wet texture to actors, this has the same issue. There is no fix for this that I know of, however if you're eager enough, something like dirt and blood textures could probably quite easily be moved over to RM overlays. Requires coding tho. 1
