CTDs going crazy in and around vault 88....

Not sure the cause.

In and around Vault 88 I get a CTD every 3-5 miniutes.

Ask a  settler to join me in Vault 88= CTD 100% of the time.

Fast travel to Vault 88 CTD 50-80% the time

Fast travel out of vault 88+ CTD 90% of the time.

running in Vault 88= CTD 60% of the time

Walking in Vault 88 = CTD 50% of the time.

Some of those might be a NPC pathing crash considering it's Vault 88. The others maybe something has broken previs/precombines. have you built in it? Are using modded settlement pieces to build in it?

You could try this mod to better optimize it for building, but I think it requires a new game. You could test a new game console some exp levels and fast track to Vault 88 and see if would help. Vault 88 Template - Optimised at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

I have looked at some of the vault 88 Mods.

I like thatthis one does not list settlemtn transfer as a requirement ( the less plug ins the better as everyone of them is a possible failure point)

I am out of V88 now and have much less CTD.

It does seem like building up Vault 88 would be tons of work right now I only have the floors built in Atrium, beds , plants and water.

And lots of defenses at strategic places.

if you have any performance texture mods try disabling them and see if it still happens
