Creating spell override in TES5Edit, everything changes correctly except spell cost.

Hi Guys,

Hope this is the right place to ask. But basically I have created a new record to override 'Mora's Boon' (Black Book award power from Dragonborn DLC), I have given it a new name, changed it to a Lesser Power (It used to be a Power) and removed the stamina and magicka restoration (to make it less OP as a Lesser Power can be spammed).

All of that works. However I also had a 50pt Magicka cost that I applied on 'Base Cost' but for whatever reason I can just spam the spell and it doesn't drain my Magicka at all.

Is there any logical reason why this is happening? I've edited a spell like this before and it worked, the only difference I can think of is that this spell is from a DLC and not a mod, so something somewhere is overriding it and saying "Nope, this costs nothing" when I cast it.

Everything in my override is Orange, which tells me it is a conflict winner. The Base Cost I have edited is, however, Green.

Thank you to anyone if there is a solution.

Lesser powers can use magicka.  One time I'd accidentally created a lesser power with a nonzero base cost.  It required and used magicka until I found my mistake and set the cost to zero.
