Which version of Racemenu to download?

> Maybe it is not confusing to you, but it is for me and my Prince. We simply do not know what version of Racemenu to download. The highest version for SE doesn't work saying that it REQUIRES SKSE64 2.0.16 and that our version, 2.0.20 isn't compatible. The newest files are for Anniversary edition. The game CTD's with false file and without it. Please, help

If you are running Skyrim 1.5.97 you need Racemenu 0.4.16 uploaded to Nexus on 22 Oct 2020. It's a fair way down in the archived files section. No other version will work correctly.

 

Save the download somewhere safe.

I'm in the process of re-installing my "Skyrim SE"... and I can't load any character "presents".

2 days I scratch my head - because somewhere "at the back" tells me something -> this is a very easy to fix error.

This "little" hint - version 4.16 - was the solution.
