Azzhat Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 It's really lagging as far as quest progression. I booted up ReSaver and it said there are 21237 stacks and 21244 frames and that 21206 of those occurrences were caused by MQ105ShoutTargetScript and that there were four instances of it: MQ105ShoutTargetScript: 000242ba (000001365da88100) MQ105ShoutTargetScript: 000242ba (000001358aa13580) MQ105ShoutTargetScript: 000242ba (00000136561bec20) MQ105ShoutTargetScript: 000242ba (0000013655dcb6a0) I've included my load order and mod list. If you need any more info I'll post as much as I can. Please help me. loadorder.txt modlist.txt
traison Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 While that looks bad, it also looks like something you might find in Skyrim. Those are only a problem if many of them are active. Check the "Active Scripts" branch in ReSaver.

Internet provider decided it was time to do maintenance and shut down the internet for an hour and a half. Edited September 17, 2022 by Azzhat

traison Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 Quote It's really lagging as far as quest progression. And this means what exactly? Quest objectives update 10 seconds after some action is done? Scripts in general feel slow? I have yet to find a way to get proper diagnostics data out of skyrim. As far as I know there's no way to know where the code is spending most of its time. Recently I've found outfits that, when worn, just lag the game for no obvious reason. Made a thread about it here on LL. Having no active scripts seems quite unlikely tho. Unless that is another side effect of whatever the problem is. Have you been fiddling with the papyrus ini settings?

Unless that is another side effect of whatever the problem is. Have you been fiddling with the papyrus ini settings? It can take almost 30-40 seconds for my character to register the second word of unrelenting force instead of the usual 5-10. Doing the whirlwind sprint test takes 20 seconds for the Greybeard to open the gate. Receiving the Greybeards blessing takes almost two minutes because I can't talk to Angeir immediately after they do the ceremony. And yeah, no active scripts. And no, I haven't messed with the papyrus ini. I don't know the first thing about it. Edited September 17, 2022 by Azzhat
traison Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 Weird. However, MQ105ShoutTargetScript does appear to be problematic: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/67968 That mod page does not appear to say anything about whether it requires a new game or not. I would assume it does, since that broken script is already in your save. Worth a try first tho, who knows, maybe it will resolve itself with the patch. 1
