Each time I try to uninstall Kinky World, I get a notice saying that install has failed. Please help - how can I safely remove this mod from my game?

What are the exact steps you are taking to try and remove the mod from your game?

Unfortunately, there is not really an easy clean way to remove KW from a game and continue to play with a saved game that had it installed. Once you completely remove it, you will either need to start a brand new save, or you will need to load a saved game that was saved before you installed KW.

Basically, to remove Kinky World, you will need to remove any package file that has a name beginning with "ONIKI_". You will need to remove any animations packages that you had installed, and any overrides that you may have had for things like Kinky television channels.

After you have removed all the package files, you will need to clear out your game caches. This is probably the most important step that many people miss. When the game loads, it finds all the package files from your Mods directory and it creates cache files that it uses to load up the next time to make starting a little faster. When you remove a package file, it does not automatically get removed from the cache files, and the game will load it from the cache files on start.

Or, I have a script that you can use, if you are on a Windows computer. Put it into your "My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3" folder, and just double click on it to run it. I personally run this script before I start the game, every time I launch the game.
