I can't use home key or any other key on my numpad that is not the number, even with the num lock on or off, so i cant use AAF at all.

Unfortunately the hotkeys for AAF don't tend to work very well with laptops or compact keyboards, any keyboard that does not have dedicated Home / Del / PgUp / PgDn etc can have this problem.

But you can remap the keys you want to other keys by opening up the AAF_Settings.ini file from within your mod manager, usually you can right click on the install of AAF and "open" it in explorer.  From there, double click the AAF folder and right click the AAF_Settings.ini to edit it.

You'll need to visit the website within the ini file which shows which codes can be associated with other keys.  You only need change the number after the equal sign, but you may also want to change the text in the 'comment' section (the part after the semi-colon : ) so that you can remember what you changed the key to.

HP keyboards are a pain. This usually works on laptops, not sure about desktop keyboards:

Make sure Numlock is On (in your case)

Press the Numlock key and hold it for at least 5 seconds.

That usually force locks the number pad into the Off state which will last until you reboot.

Force locking it On is the reverse.

The only issue with that solution is that the nudge keys (moves the actors in an animation around if they are inside a wall or something) are all tied to the number pad keys 1-9 (except 5).  But if it works for the OP, that's cool and I'll have to remember that if someone else happens by on an HP.  Thanks :)

That really depends on what other things you have tied to hotkeys because you probably don't want to have 2 different mods using the same hotkey.  You'd also want to check the game settings to see which keys are already being used for things like the map, auto run etc.
