but nothing doesn't work.

reload previous save has a problem same. Starting new fresh save has no problem this issue. but reload old save the issue come back.

MCM still show the old mod that I removed and new mod not show. There are also duplicate mod.

Start a completely new game - use Live another Life if you have it so you don't have to sit through that interminable intro.

Let all the MCM menus load. This takes several minutes, so go make a cup of coffee or something.

Save and exit your game.

Reload that new game. Double check the menus are all loaded (some mods need the restart to load) and leave it running for two or three minutes.

Save and exit.

Load your old game file. The menus should be fixed.

It still doesn't fix.

The new save has good menu, but the old save doesn't.

As far as I know when MCM "breaks" like this there is no real fix, but then again I've not put much time into it as I've never had it happen on a serious save of mine.

I suppose the first thing I'd do is try to figure out how MCM works. For instance, does it initialize the left side list every time the game loads or the cell changes? If so then you still have something active from the mods you removed. Looking at the save with ReSaver would perhaps shed some light on that. Search for scripts that belong to the mod you removed. Try removing their active instances, or just any relevant entry you find.

Maybe if the left side list is not initialized on load/cell change then there must be a cache of some kind somewhere. First thing I'd suspect is again the save file, so again, use ReSaver but this time target MCM itself. The "sledgehammer approach" here could be to get rid of all scripts belonging to mcm itself from the save, and then trying to start the mcm quest manually, perhaps with the command you used before: setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1, or perhaps startquest ski_configmanagerinstance.

Poke and prod, see what changes. Keep backups so you don't have to fear doing irreverseable damage; gives you more freedom.

Damn. Sorry, that's the only fix I know for an MCM that's glitched out.

OMG!! You save my entire life! Thank you very much!!

I delete all script instances in SKYUI_SE.esp via ReSaver. Following your advice and MCM fixed. I really relief now. You are my savior.
