Ruler as Knight

I have tried over and over to make a ruler as a knight and I have found a way, but it has 2 issues.

First it only applies to my character and I have to modify the save file each time my ruler dies and a new one takes over.

 

I am not a great modder and cant find a way to do the following:

1. Get all the AI rulers to be knights. Ive tried various triggers, but all failed.

 

2. Make a way that commanders use Prowess in battles like knights. This would mean I don't need to have a ruler as a knight and would make prowes matter as a ruler, but when I tried to make the defines allow for commanders to deal damage like knights it failed. I figure, if I cant make a ruler a knight, then why not try to alter a commander to act more like a knight and actually use prowess like a normal knight. But so far, all attempts are not registered.

 

3. A way in game to make your ruler a courtier in the rulers court. How I got my mod to allow a ruler as a knight is I have to modify court data in the save file. Is there a way to in game with a debug or cheat to make the ruler a courtier without having to alter the save file and also perhaps do this for all the AI rulers as well.

 

I had hoped the Devs would have allowed a new mechanic to allow rulers to be knights in the game by now, but seems they have no intention and its a real shame as prowess is worthless as a ruler and commander.

I mean, I get that now all players will want that, but that's why in the knight manager, you can force, or remove any potential knight to fight, so it should not be hard for them to do it. It baffles me, CK2 had that.

 

Your heir can fight as a knight, but once you die, they cant ever be effective in a battle as a commander?

 

I understand this is more a lewd content forum, but I know how skilled the modders are here, so hoped maybe you had some insights.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Yeah I am aware of that mod.

It is OK, and can help for sure with a ruler that has prowess, but still now what I am looking for.
