1.5.97 versions of Arthmoor's USSEP, AS-LAL (Alternate Start - Live Another Life), and Cutting Room Floor

The Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch for Skyrim 1.5.97 is difficult to find, so here is a link to USSEP version 4.2.5b

 

 

If you're confused about what version of Skyrim you have, the screenshot above shows you how to find the Skyrim version number.

• If your SkyrimSE.exe version is 1.5.97 then you want this version of USSEP (4.2.5b)
• If your SkyrimSE.exe version is 1.6.353 or higher, then you want the latest version of USSEP from here

• Alternate Start - Live Another Life for Skyrim SE 1.5.97 - this link is to Arthmoor's archive of AS-LAL v4.1.4
• Cutting Room Floor for 1.5.97 - Cutting Room Floor-276-3-1-10.7z

hmmm...
no they were correct, but it seems that Nexus has changed the file at that link. Either intentionally, or because Bethesda just upgraded AE

I will try and find where they have hidden the original

If you can make 1.5.97 patch being constantly visible and downloadable, it would be great since my Prince and I couldn't find this (workable) version at all. Or you can post it here, on LL since many people don't want to upgrade SE to Anniversary.

At no point does the file (readmes) refrence 1.6 existing.

4.2.5b is the correct version of USSEP for Skyrim version 1.5.97

You are most right that it's really hard to find this version of USSEP. It took me years to discover where to download it from. It should ease the pain of others now.

Thank you for this. I wanted to go back to the version of Skyrim i have a comfortable understanding of, and with limited time i really didn't want to have to go through re-downloading EVERY mod and browsing forums endlessly for new versions of the mods i want, if they even exist at this point. Its not hard to bold " Only the newest version will be supported/assisted with troubleshooting" and letting people in the community help others, while leaving the old versions available for people. 

Not allowing mods to have archived versions because "its holding the community back" is probably one of the biggest dogshit excuses I've heard.

Please revise the page and, as my predecessor suggested, change it to include the "Note" that it only applies to "Skyrim AE".
