corwin Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Okay, I've googled till I'm blue in the face, I've Wrye Bashed, Tes5Edited, BOSSED, tried just about every Skyrim.ini tweak I've stumbled across, and I'm STILL getting random crashes. According to my Papyrus log, the prime suspects seem to be: warning: Property NoteMarker on script FreeformCollegeANotesScript attached to alias Notes on quest FreeformWinterholdCollegeA (0005D2E9) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [07/25/2013 - 07:02:34PM] warning: Property TG05KarliahInvisibilitySpell on script tg06questscript attached to TG06 (00021552) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [07/25/2013 - 07:02:47PM] Loading game... [07/25/2013 - 07:02:47PM] VM is thawing... [07/25/2013 - 07:02:49PM] InitWidgetLoader() I don't even know which mod is responsible for InitWidgetLoader, of if it's part of the f******g buggy game engine. Rather than post a detailed mod list no one is likely to read, I'll sketch the main features of my current install: Skyrim + Update (I have the DLCs but they're disabled until I figure out how to stabilize the core game) SKSE SKYUI Headtracking Apachii Hair USKP Underground Bath House Dovahkiin Takes Action HDT High Heels System HDT Physics Extensions (recently released, but not under suspicion at present) Splash of Rain Bellyache's New Dragon Species Skyrim Flora Overhaul RaceMenu RaceMenu Plugin Achievement Remover Dance of Death (most recent non-Dawnguard, non-Dragonborn version) Temptress Vixen Race (though my char. plays as a Breton) Water Supermodel Skyrim (but not All Female Guards, which caused all kinds of problems) Bashed Patch (loaded last, no matter where BOSS wants to put it) ...plus a few weapon & armor mods, enchanting/disenchanting mods, etc. for a grand total of 63. No sex mods (gave up on those early on: too damn buggy); no FNIS; no overhauls of any kind, including companion overhauls; no hi-res texture packs including the Bethesda freebie. System: 3gHz quad-core i7 with 4gb system RAM (no point in buying more because I'm running XP Home. Reason? I loathed Vista when I had it & I'm not yet ready to try 7) Asus/Radeon 7870 GPU with 2gb VRAM. So the hardware is adequate, though the O/S may not be. Sometimes the game will run for quite a while without a hitch, but when I return to a problem area--especially Whiterun or close to it, or Riften, or Windhelm--I get these infuriating CTDs. I've cured quite a few problems using the methods outlined in my opening paragraph & by getting rid of suspect mods, starting a fresh game etc. Now I'm utterly stumped & can't find a solution on the Internet. If anyone can offer a solution, or even a suggestion, I'll be most grateful. How grateful? Well, we can negotiate.... Thanx in advance, corwin78
