Guest Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 (edited) This issue I've had since beginning my playthrough but I never really cared cuz I never use horses in skyrim anyway but when I try to mount a horse nothing happens, I'll hear the clicking noise that goes off when you press the activate button but nothing happens as if I've never clicked it at all. I'm currently doing the quest to steal frost and this issue has made the quest impossible so I would like this issue to be resolved so that I may be able to do other quests that involve riding horses. does anyone know of a solution? there are too many mods, don't you happen to have any that modify or change the behavior, texture or ai of the horses? - It only happens with frost? Have you already tried to test with others to see if the same thing happens? - did you install the creature animations in fnix?
Guest Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Alright I figured it out, turns out that for some reason you have to aproach the horse from the side, get as close as possible and then press action. odd that isnt how I remember triggering the mounting horses action, I wonder what changed it and when.
