I Can't Download Wicked Whims, does this have to do with the update or what

I Stopped Playing the sims for a week for a multitude of reasons and one of which is that my CC isn't downloading, am I doing something wrong or it it not my fault.

I think you mean that your mods aren't loading, there was a free update and the game deactivates mods, just go to settings to activate them.

If you use WickedWhims you don't need that mod.

 

On modthesims's page, the creator of the mod moxiemason (that also has not updated the mod in years☹️) says that it is possible that EA has recoded the censorship of the game and that is why it could stop working. Or.... It could also be that some mod or cc is in conflict with the censorship mod.

 

 

You should also download a program to search for conflicts or duplicates of your cc mods, I use Mod Conflict Detector and Sims 4 Tray Importer.

To make batch fixes for your cc mods you need sims 4 studio, download according to the operating system of your computer.

Every time you delete and/or update mods delete the cache of the sims 4 folder. The cache files store information about the mods and the cc of your game and when you delete or update one that gave you problems without deleting the cache the problem will continue.
