Having Horse Animation issues

I recently upgraded my convenient Horses to 4.7.3 and now all my horses  look like in the pic.

 

I'd uninstall it to make sure it really is the problem but every time I uninstall it and convenient horse herding my game will ctd on start up and I have no other mods that are dependent on CH that I know of maybe a hidden dependency or something.

 

Edit It seems whatever is causing this is also effecting dogs
