Wicked Whims "Removed" or 'Cannot download"

This happens from time to time, and the issue is eventually solved when a new Wicked whims patch update is made. But that mainly takes weeks or days and I figured maybe going on here may help me prevent this from happening again entirely. Because maybe I'm not the only one with this issue.

 

I basically tried to download the new WW update (170i) whenever I try to open the folder or open my mods folder to see if it's there, the folder disappears and says "Removed". When I try to redownload it, it either automatically says removed or says that it can't download. I tried on Turbo driver's website, and I tried to download it on here and I have the same issue. I removed the previous WW folder, and updated MCC and Base mental drugs. I'm currently looking at old mods to see if that's the problem. The same issue happens. Has anyone else had this problem.

 

I have a Windows laptop if that helps lol

Try disabling your antivirus, That should help, since it is only a package file, it does not have virus.

Glad it worked. Since windows security automatically removes download in Zip which it deems from untrustworthy site, so maybe you can also add exception to the downloads folder from the Windows Security Page thus it does not remove anything from that folder.!
