Guest Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 EA really went for the jugular of the modding community. The very community that took a broken base game and turned it into a global success...and have made them hundreds of millions as a result. That patch has broken games, timelines and I've had issues with save-games not saving. Mods are broken, I spent 5 hours yesterday and another 3 hours today trying to fix my mods...and that was just the patch! I didn't buy the expansion! Obviously, there was no serious playtesting before this release...the conspiratorial part of me thinks that as Sims 4 reaches the end of it's development cycle, EA is knowingly breaking the game bit by bit, so as people will dump it once the online, always connected, Sims 5 appears. I could well be wrong, but I've played EA games for 30 years, I've seen them crush companies under their heel and treat customers with contempt. They lurk like a beast in the drainage system of gaming.
