Sim Duplicate Outfits

So my sim's everyday outfit has been duplicated... he doesn't change it, even during sex. I have the most recent WW. Tried playing older versions of my save and the outfit is always duplicated, and sometimes he's lacking shoes. I tried resetting my sim, removing him from household then adding him back in, removing duplicate mods... running out of options on what to do.

You probably have tried, but just to clarify: Can you edit in CAS? If you can't open CAS or the edits you make there won't stick, I'd recommend closing the game, moving the Mods-folder to deskotop and do a "repair game" from the Origin window. When the game is repaired, put the Mods-folder back before opening the game.
