I got inside the Gauntlet and almost made it to the end, but now I cannot proceed into the "Nuka-World maintenance shed" without consistently crashing to desktop. I've tried reloading earlier saves, checking my load order in Wrye Bash, updating a couple of older mods, and I've just exhausted my patience searching Google. However, disabling those unrecommended mods didn't get me through that door. I've already put in like 6 hours troubleshooting and reading with no success, so if anybody can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

Recently we've seen cbp|skeleton crashing with that male body replacer (June/July releases), but the reports were generally when zoning into Diamond City. The newest version released yesterday may have fixed it, but they also added an outfit in Nuka World. The quickest test would be to delete any built male clothing meshes and temporarily revert to the 2021 build of Bodytalk to try and reproduce the crash. I don't like directly linking to the download page for that version, so if you do need it, go to step 9b in the guide, and click the 2nd download link. Then scroll down that page and click the orange button "Create Download Link". I've bolded that part, because the damn file sharing website puts 3 or 4 other download buttons to try and trick people into clicking other shit. Of course, if you aren't using Bodytalk, or you are already using that version, then your crash lies elsewhere. Edited July 25, 2022 by Sgt. Marge 1

While looking for solutions to my crash, I ran across your posts regarding the BodyTalk update which had some bad prebuild options, so I updated to that version. The crash persisted, so I assumed Bodytalk wasn't the culprit and reverted back to the version I was using. However, I did not delete the older built clothing. I just went into my overwrite folder and renamed the DLC04 mesh folder. Loaded up the game and I was able to proceed through the door. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, SGT. MARGE! YOU'RE A WONDERFUL PERSON! 1
