I also noted there is an option "SaveGameMaxSize" for "Expands the maximum uncompressed size of a save game from 64 MB to 128 MB". I'll try this one too. Hopefully it will alleviate some issues as well.

I'm happy to inform you that Wrye Bash did increase stability by a whole lot. So thanks again!
