Eyes won't change when becoming a vampire.

Hi all I am having a problem with my character's eyes not changing when he becomes a vampire.

Well,

Vampire issues are pretty common thing when playing as one.

 

Off the top of my head,

Look at Race Replacers, just check out to see if there are edits in TesEdit, 

Uhm of course RACE mods usually have their own methods and also are usually incompatible with vampire overhauls without some sort of effort on the part of the end-user.

 

Of course when you finally get Vampires working properly there are some problems such as not being able to change your appearance like at all.  This makes wig's a pretty big deal for vampire characters.

 

DVA - Dynamic Vampire Appearance.esp

This may in fact be the problem since its settings can make it so that your characters Vampire eyes only show up during certain moments.

 

Often though there are quite a few mods out there that change the default vampire eye to something other than the Dawnguard vampire eye.  Figuring that out takes tools again TesEdit is a good go to for that.

 

Vampire Overhauls are not usually the culprit for vampire eyes being something other than what they should, its usually stuff that alters the looks of the races, and that gets complicated if you also have stuff that modifies racial values and tons of patches to work through to make a bunch of stuff all compatible with correct vampire eyes...Been there done that got the card....Again TesEdit is very useful.

Thank you for the reply.  I am using the vanilla Nord race.  I will disable DVA.  I am using a vampire eye replacer.  I was using Lamae's Gaze then switched to the old Fangs and Eyes .  Once again thank you for the reply you have given me some ideas.
