Male sim won't get pregnant!

I have my male sim set on CAS to be able to get pregnant, and at first WW said that his cycle was starting soon. But as I kept playing, it never came, and I don't get the pregnancy notification. Is there something I need to change in my WW settings or is this just not possible?
