Converting 3BA to CBBE - 1st time, confused

Hello!

This is my first attempt at converting a 3BA outfit to plain CBBE and I'm frankly at a loss how to go about it in Bodyslide.

The mod is https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/65109 and the issue I'm having is that the butt clips through the fabric and no matter what I do when building it for the curvy preset it persists.

 

Would somebody be so kind as to point me in the right direction and provide a walkthrough or tips?

Thank you, I'm going to try this once I get back from work and report my results. 

EDIT: I did succeed in building the outfit on the body, though not in a way that fixed the loincloth collapsing upon itself or the butt sticking out. There are no 3BBB bones to delete, so I'm lost.

Anything else I could try?
