Followers won't unequip weapons during kissing animations

Triggering the kiss me dialogue from Amorous Adventures, followers won't unequip their weapons. I would like to make an SL Trigger addon to unequip all weapons similar to the unequip quiver mod but it is currently beyond my skill and I don't know the repercussions of unequipping weapons on certain npcs without re-equipping the exact weapon they were wearing. Might be some quest specific stuff or non-player items.

 

Anyway I am looking for help with this SexLab's Timers & Stripping option does not seem to work on this specific scenario even though I have weapons set to unequip to both genders in normal, foreplay, and aggressive animations.
