manuel2248 Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Im new in the skyrim modding, In the last week I have tried mods on my own from nexusmods, and I have not achieved results, I cannot make it work well, there are conflicts between mods ect. I'm looking for something that lets me enjoy the vanilla game, with improved graphics, good looking npcs/clothes(specially females), and nsfw stuff like brothels, or punishment when defeated. I'm sorry if I ask too much or I'm very specific, but I really need help xd.
ttts1 Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 (edited) Here's a list I made for a similar question on improving the "look" of your game. I'm no longer using Book of UUNP as the main armor replacer, using Acro's conversion of Bad Dog's replacer: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32518 Otherwise, I think I'm still using all the other mods in addition to about 300 others. FYI - i'm still running SE, not AE. I would think they're probably all updated but not 100% sure since I'm not tracking AE updates. You may want to check the compatibility thread before installing. ttts1 Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 (edited) I forgot to mention, if this is your first time installing everything and you are having trouble getting mods to work then you should probably start small and follow an installation guide. Even experienced people can run into some small, hard to spot mistakes in getting everything installed and running correctly. The best guide would depend on your mod manager. I use MO2, and there's a great guide, with a forum discussion, to get everything started with some basic mods. Once everything is running with the suggested "basic" setup, then start to expand. If you try to add too many mods too fast it can be very difficult and very frustrating to find what is causing errors. Add one or a few at a time and see if they all work and if you can create a character without crashing. Then add a few more. That way you can more easily find errors that prevent you from playing. Other errors that occur hours into the game would still be hard to spot. To create characters quickly, I suggest using the Alternate Start mod, which gives a lot of options (and has some sub-mods) for different ways to start the game. It is really helpful for testing if you get a crash in character creation because it starts the game immediately with character creation before anything else can occur. You can also walk around a small cell to check if physics are working before you select your start options. (Plus, it's a good mod anyway and can add some sub-mods for other starting scenarios). Here's the guide I mentioned: Here's the Alternate Start mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/272/ I think there are some similar mods to Alternate Start, but I haven't tried them and it seems they have as many sub-mods for different starting situations. There's a list of possible starting options with short summaries on the mod page. There's at least 2 sub-mods here on LL, but I only use Books of Dibella as an add-on. (note: "Egg Factory" is not a hard requirement unless you want those options. I don't use that mod and have no interest in those options, so it works perfectly fine without the "middle shelf" options): Edited June 30, 2022 by ttts1
