Need help modding

Hey, i've never modded any games before, and im really confused how to start modding skyrim. Im playing Skyrim anniversary edition, and ive got no idea where to start. Could someone please help me get some mods?

You should start by picking a mod manager (Vortex or Mod Organizer 2) and then watch some tutorial videos by either Gopher (Vortex) or GamerPoets (Vortex or MO) on youtube for how to set it up and use it.  There's a guide in my signature for Special Edition, I haven't investigated AE yet.

I used Just Don't guide for MO2.  It really helped me after I made a mistake on doing my original installations.  Even if you decide to use a different mod manager, you can still look through it to get some ideas.  It's really good.
