Some basic questions regarding LODs (DyndoLOD and X-LOD Gen)?

Hi, I am very new to LOD generation. So, I was trying to generate lod for a custom worldspace. Well, I can generate the terrain lod with X-LOD gen as well as the static lod gens. But had a couple of questions.

 

- What exactly is Dyndolod? I mean, I know Dyndolod is used for high quality static mesh lods, but does dyndolod generate LODs for a custom worldspace like X-LOD gen does? Or is it only used for the existing lods and is specific for few mods/worldspaces (i.e Tamriel, Enderal).

- When I generate terrain lods with X-LOD gen, the mountains in the worldspace get generated, but only the vanilla (textured) mountains. So, the (vanilla) mountain meshes I retextured in CK, don't get generated. Do I need to do something to generate those retextured mountain lods?

 

I guess that's it. I hope somebody answers it.

my experience with dyndolod its not very stable after sometime there will be alot of generated null scripts spamming in the open world which will cause a ctd, these scripts will clear off but when there are alot of script running it will ctd and i always have to move into an indoor area and it will automatically clear itself, a frustrating experience as when sexlab triggers and these damm scripts start spamming it will cause either a ctd or animations to slow down causing fps issues.

 

i had since ran without it and game is more stable i.e. if u are running on LE version and prefer stability above all else.
