Fast forward not working properly

I noticed since starting to play with WW over a year ago that my fast forward options don't work normally. There is significant lag and they move very slowly. I recently did a reset to my mods and removed WW and found that they worked normally without it. As soon as I redownloaded the fast forward stopped functioning properly again. Any idea how to fix this? Anyone else running into this?
