Racemenu bodymorphs (3BA, HIMBO) sliders not working, or working intermittently

I'm having a very frustrating issue with CBBB and HIMBO bodymorphs in Racemenu. Essentially, I'll move a 3BA or HIMBO slider and the morph will alter the body part slightly and just stop there, even if I bring it all the way to 1 or 0, not changing at all. If I adjust the weight slider at all, then the bodymorph will finally load the proper shape. It would be just annoying but not game breaking, except it affects mods like Fill Her Up or other ones using inflation framework, so those mods don't work at all because of this.

I've tried seeing if it was an incompatibility with another mod to no avail. For example, I would disable a completely Racemenu-unrelated mod like a landscape fix mod that's just an .esp or Immersive Armors and suddenly it will work. Then I'll test it again by re-enabling the mod to make sure the bodymorphs are broken, except this time if I disable it again the bodymorph system remains broken. There's no rhyme or reason for it deciding to work or not. I'm pretty sure it started temporarily working after I loaded all my mods in SSEEdit without changing anything (obviously didn't work again). I've also tried rebuilding bodies with new .tri's, reinstalling 3BA/HIMBO, Racemenu, SKSE, Engine Fixes, CBBE, Bodyslide, and rereunning Nemesis/FNIS and LOOT. Nothing works concretely and I'm tearing my hair out. Since it's affecting both HIMBO and 3BA, I think it has to be an issue with a script in SKSE or Racemenu

I've seen a few people with the same problem, but no one has been able to find a solution. Has anyone experienced the same and have been able to come up with a lasting fix? Or is it a fundamental bug with the current versions of Racemenu/SKSE?

Try deselect RaceMenuPlugin.esp (only this)

Had same problem and somehow this fixed it. I saw this method on a thread but couldn't find it now.

Update:

If you are using RaceCompatibility, try load RaceMenuPlugin.esp after RaceCompatibilityUSKPOverride.
