does anyone know how do i fix f4se for fallout 4 the game runs and i check if it was running and it is but when the game loads i message pop up saying f4se wasnt install files missing but i loaded the game fine and it said it was good when i typed getf4seversion on command so whats the problem im lost

Update your game through Steam,

Download and overwrite your F4SE files in the main Fallout 4 directory,

And update all your mods that use F4SE, just go check every single one of them and if your not sure just download them anyway and reinstall them.  Remove old version then install the newest....Not an always needed but should not hurt this last step.

 

IF your on a specific version of Fo4 and you need to be on a specific version of F4SE, well IDK what to do other than in cases where there has been a need for a specific version of a script extender that team usually provides that version on their download site labeled specifically for the version of the game it works with, although I dont know if there is a need for Fo4 and they will not entertain having versions for jailbreak copies.
