If you have used other mods (e.g. for graphics) then it is the same process.

1. Get a mod manager. For example: Vortex (offsite).

2. Check requirements for the adult mod (check: mod description).

3. Download requirements and install with mod manager.

4. Download chosen mod, install with mod manager.

Almost all mods require:

- SKSE (offsite)

- SkyUI (offsite)

- SexLab (LoversLab)

- Fuz Ro D-oh (offsite)

Many mods also require:

- a custom body type (e.g. CBBE) and bodyslide (offsite)

- a custom skeleton (e.g. XP32)

- FNIS: to generate their animations (offsite)

An alternative start to the game is highly recommended e.g. Realm of Lorkhan (offsite).

Once your game is running *:

1. wait until installation messages finish.

2. save your game and exit.

3. repeat step 1 and 2 until there are no installation messages.

You may need to repeat step 1 and 2 a few times (it usually needs three, for me).

* Notes

1. If your characters are T-posed, then you need to run FNIS first.

2. If items are invisible, then you need to run bodysllde first.

Always make sure you download LE versions (Legendary edition) for the original Skyrim, OR SE/AE versions for Skyrim SE/AE. Unless specified, they are not interchangeable.
