Steam: Just what data does it transmit?

In spite of acknowledging the necessity for a good copy protection, I do not like the idea of Steam reporting quite a bit about my PC and how long I have been playing back to base. I have read a lot  about it in the past. Still, I do not know if it also tells what mods and the like I have installed or what other programs.

So, does anybody know a site that tells exactly and completely what data Steam sends home?

 

And: No, I do not want to start that discussion whether Steam is spyware or not! There have been heated arguments about this all over the net and IMHO spyware is something that does not even admit it sends data back home.
