Need help with CBBE 3BA outfits: Default body is shown instead pf my preset

Some outfits work perfectly fine after I build them in BodySlide, while many others I download look like in the picture. How do I fix this, please help?

Make sure the Outfit works when not using your preset, basically use 3BA's default preset, maybe move a slider or two around and check the preview to see if the body is actually shaping along with the outfit.

 

What I think is happening,

 

You have not installed 3BA properly so its sliders are not there, its just the default CBBE slider body in the picture after all.

 

Try re-installing or probably installing 3BA for the first time actually.

Then the sliders for 3BA should work.

 

Honestly its the most likely reason, I've seen this before it where a player brought up that my Book of UUNP was not shaping....Thing was he did not have UUNP installed so Bodyslide had no files to work with to shape the armors and bodies.  How did that happen?  Well he thought BHUNP body being installed would be enough but its not because UUNP and BHUNP although in the same family are two different body sets with their own slider sets.

 

CBBE and CBA its the same thing, so you have to have CBA itself installed and you should be able to have both of them installed with little issue since their files should not be using the same folders withen Bodyslide itself.

 

Now rarely it can also be that your preset itself is not properly set up for CBA body formats, and you might have to open the Preset in Notepad++ to add them in there.
