Keep trying to talk to Mjoll at Riften right after getting notification of Love and Death in Riften starting but there's a ".." at the top of the dialogue box and the only flirtation is related to SLEN. Tried clicking on that but Love and Death stops working right then and can only flirt through the SLEN dialogue, which does result in sex of course.

Is there a patch available?
