Games crashes when registering 800+ SexLab animations despite limit increases

SexLab usually has a 500 animation limit. I have forever ago downloaded Sexlab Utility Plus which increased it to 1250 and kept it below it. Everything worked until I reinstalled the game and all mods recently. I started a new save and the save began crashing after I registered around 800 animations. Reaching any combination of 800 creature and character animations makes the save crash on load.

I of course have FNIS XXL. I have tried installing SexLab sslAnimationSlots 2000 LE 2.0.4 instead, and followed all the instructions there. The "limit" visually increases to 2000 in SexLab but the game continues crashing after 800. I tried installing Animation Limit Crash Fix, Continue Game No Crash, Animation Loading Fix and Load Game CTD Fix. All in compatible combinations. Nothing worked, I'm out of ideas.

What are your machine specs?

The animation limit exists(ed?) first and foremost because systems couldn't handle loading that much. All the patches and optimizations help to deal with that, but it's still a point of concern.

gtx 1080ti i7 8086k, I have had saves before that went beyond the 800 animations, around 1100, and there things worked fine before I reinstalled things.

General troubleshooting tips:

- Have your Task Manager open when loading/running Skyrim and watch the performance tab. If the issue is something bottlenecking, you can see which one.

- Try disabling ENB if you're using it. It might not be the problem, but it will help to narrow down a lot of problems if disabling ENB does or doesn't change anything.

- Try disabling individual animation packs. It may not be a limit issue, but specific animations.

I had Task Manager open once, nothing unusual happens. Just normal usage during the game and crash. I don't use ENB I'm pretty sure, and I've tried every combination of animation packs I could think of, but it always crashes after a set number of animations are registered, never any of the packs alone.
