Changeling518 Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 Probably dumb question, but now that gay marriage is enabled in-game, does anybody know if there's a mod that enables you to impregnate your spouse, regardless of their sex? It's a weird and perhaps horrible thought, but hey, this is a series where someone can lose their mine, screw a horse, and subsequently give birth to horses, so it's probably even a slight step down in such a thing.
myname789 Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 As far as I'm aware, male characters can't be impregnated; it's probably hardcoded. Female characters can be impregnated by their female partners (or even themselves) using the console command "pregnancy motherID fatherID", IE: pregnancy 12345 12345. I'm not sure if any mods incorporate it.

Crazy method to get it to work is to make everyone female, have half the population get a trait which gives them a male character look and then setup the process for I guess either or to get pregnant
myblueinsides Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 I myself made it possible with Cheat Engine by changing one the dude's gender to female, then chose "start pregnancy" in debug mode menu (right click), chose how many children I need from him and changed said dude's gender back to male. The dude got his pregnancy icon, and the kid appeared 9 in-game months later (without the cutscene tho). Just remember to remove pregnancy icon from him through debug menu after, cuz it won't disappear on its own.
Darsel Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Unfortunately, there are no ways - to my knowledge - to genderswap via modding, so you either have to do it manually through the console/debug mode or via memory editing. The game itself has some pretty draconic hardcoding in place for actual impregnation logic requiring a male and a female. You could potentially impregnate a female-female pairing with an abstracted third party male, but then you won't get genetic inheritance from the mother's female partner. (And, you'd need to add in flags and checks to ensure dynastic inheritance.) It might be possible; to create a temporary male with cloned genetics of the non-mother/futa partner, but messing with genetics like that is beyond my ken. It'd likely involve a lot of scriptwork to imitate the regular pregnancy/inheritance events as well.
LilYanitor Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 I could be wrong, but isn't there an option in CAS that lets you choose if you're sim either get's pregnant or get's other sims pregnant. Or doesn't that work for male sims?

I haven't found a way to assign actual dna data to characters, but I tried to at least transfer all genetic traits to a substitute father and got stuck on stopping/ transferring all the birth/adultery events triggered by father/spouse relation just like you assumed. There's just so much we don't know about how pregnancy works in the inaccessible part of the code.
Winded1 Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 I saw the title of the post and became hopeful, but I see that the focus of the discussion is about getting males pregnant. I'd be very interested if there was a mod, or a way to impregnate the female lover/spouse and/or the female PC in a f/f same sex relationship that does NOT involve adoption or a surrogate? Once upon a time, in CK2, there was a mod that allowed this I believe, but I've not found one on the steam workshop that does the same thing for CK3.

I wanted to try to do a play through where I start off as a futanari character, impregnate female characters, and then eventually try to cull out male characters from the world entirely. Can't do this since futanari characters in Carnalitas are considered female and they can't get each other pregnant. It's possible via the console, but for whatever reason, the game is hardcoded to refuse same-sex impregnations via mods. (There is also no way to temporarily genderswap a character via mods as a jank workaround.)
