Joe_Oni Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 I run Fallout with a few mods......., well, a lot of mods... And it been a tough go. My pc is weak, her companions are weak and prone to fall from high places. Because of mods, most of the guns found are broken and ammo is far and few between. I also decided not upgrade armor light=>heavy. Its either bought or found. So there I am, just beyond Diamond City, when my group comes across some super mutants on a building (armed with lasers, grenades and big sticks (mod). I see a couple of captives bound up there too (commonwealth captives). Now the smart thing to do is leave. We have Cosworth "tally-ho straight up the middle", Dogmeat "you didn't need that stimpack", My first two CWC rescues following along as companions and 2 fresh rescues armed with raider castoffs. But.......2 female captives on roof maybe more inside... Boom! tripwire? mine? wake up dehydrated and hungry. 7 stimpacks left, stimpacks aren't healing only some food heals. HP only 70%..Boom!....? 6 stimpacks, health at 33 percent and we're not in the building. Its Wilson Atomatoys. We clear the first floor with 1 legendary killed by someone and 1 stimpack used. I'm using a bow mod (which is OP broken, debating using it). 2nd floor is no problem and salvage is good for once. Then we go back down. I can hear the super mutants bantering and I sneak around a corner, see nothing but hear them. They attack and I fire blindly into the dark and catch a laser shot to the head. one of farelle's animation plays with the pc and two mutants and another is assaulting the female npc, don't know who. So there's three left.. Now I have knockout framework running and shortest recovery time is 2 game hours (which isn't default) so my pc is laying there as the calm time runs out. This is the first time because I've either been able to run off or be sold to another location. With a super mutants standing right next to my pc, the results are easy to guess. She gets railed,,,,but pc body is still lying next to the wall. By this time, some of the other followers have recovered and/or started fighting again and I hear them win. Now here's the problem...I'm still knocked out. My camera is locked in a weird position. I had to enable the camera to fly around and so couldI see. first, Piper, fully kited out but handcuffed. 1 female CWC naked and dead, cosworth shutdown and the dog's mia. The 2 newest guys are crouched not far off. Piper finally creeps up but I can't talk or move. 15 minute of real time, hit save and qqq out. ? now this is survival mode so I have a couple save keys added in ( playing a Bethesda game without saving..madness). Anyway the save didn't take and latest save was right before the shtf. This time only one cwc died and, of course, since I reloaded.. the roof was empty... ---------- later on, I was messing with a companion mod which let me recruit anyone. I got a bug where my oldest cwc followers wont open their inventory while the newer will. I can send them to a settlement and the inventory will work again... I also recruited a farmer chased by dogs but as it turns out, he's a coward that won't fight and there's no option to release him....team kill incoming Found this out when we finally went to help Ada. 8 (including pc) against the bots fight Ada. Everyone went down except the pc and the farmer who was screaming for help... why start the mechanist quest and add in the rust devils spawns? I don't use settlement beacons. I usually have too many to handle from rescuing CWC but this time there seem to be fewer and I just can't afford to use the stimpacks on them. I'm level 23 and I got 5.......5 total. They're too expensive and even though I put a point to be able to make them, blood packs aren't showing up. (traders have about a third of their normal load). So robot repair kits I can build... modlist.txt
cosworth Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Best idea: reduce the recovery time, I remember I had a similar issue way back in Skyrim, mod deviously helpless afair, it worked way better then. HTH
