height slider mod by Godjul1 has been a real pain. (Rant?)

So recently I was modding the sims and I was looking to add a height mod because I could never tell the difference between teens and adults so I downloaded a few height slider mods and it was a bad Idea as they just randomly give you a value so if you want to make a default height sim you cant tell if your slider is +10 out from -100 to 100 or 0. I saw that random townies also get a random height which I didn't want. So I deleted every height related mod in my folder and I noticed I could still change sims height from the foot. I searched my mod folder a few times and couldn't find it but after removing everything and slowly adding it back I found out a mod I had called shadow hunter had multiple mods inside it and for some reason had the height slider mod by Godjul1 in it. I manually unpacked and took the mod out and everything was great till today. I downloaded a few sims off of here and I have the same height slider somehow and cant find it again so its probably packaged in another mod for whatever reason.

 

I don't get it does everyone use Godjul1's height slider as this is the only one that Ive had to remove twice. please for the love of god stop packaging height sliders in with other mods. I'm probably gonna take a break from this game as I will have to again remove my mods and slowly put them back to see what the problem is and its not very organized. also if you want a good mod to just change height of teen I suggest LUUMIA mod and only downloading the Height Body Presets package as it doesn't add a invisible slider that affects all sims and instead adds a preset body that you can add to your teen sims.
