tlrd Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 I’ve been trying to figure this out for a bit and can’t seem to find a definitive answer. Is Sofia - The Funny Fully Voiced Follower compatible with Convenient Horses. After googling around I’ve found post saying they got the go purchase a horse dialogue to appear, but I can’t get it to show up. Can anyone give me a definitive answer? I am using the latest version of both mods on the latest version of Skyrim Anniversary Edition. I’ve including my load order just in case as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. loadorder.txt
Gameplayer Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Im on SE edition, But if it were me.... I would put Sofia after the Convenient Horses patch unless its explicit that it should be after Sofia. Also, I did not see a follower overhaul mod in your LO, might have missed it not familiar with all of them yet for SE and AE, however what you should absolutely do is find out if your Follower Overhaul mod has a patch for Convenient Horses because as I remember it was certainly that way back in Legendary Edition all the follower overhaul mods had to be patched to work with Con Horses. Sofia herself might actually have a patch, its been quite a few years at least 5 since I played with that character in my LO, it may be that the patch is rolled into her FOMOD file by now. So you gotta check Sofia mod page, your follower overhaul mod page, and convienent horses mod page....Because there is sure as pigs in shit going to be a patch for Convenient Horses plus follower overhaul mod....Sofia Im almost positive needs one should be on her mod page. Side advice, I suggest you to use the roll back patcher, move back to Skyrim SE edition for greatest level of compatibility until mod authors have had enough years to get everything working in AE edition of the game, but heck honestly if you do there is less incentive I suppose. Main reason to go with the AE is IF you purchase the real AE DLC that gives something like 100 creation club items for like 20 dollars, otherwise its not a smart move to stick with AE cause without the purchase dlc you only have like 4 creation club items for being on AE edition. Meanwhile rollback patchers allow you to keep those 4 CC items plus be on SE that has the greater compatibility for the time being.
