wet function not working

so ive tried everything to fix this but it still wont show up in my mcm ive been using the same mods for over 2 years and never had an issue with wet function until my newest install of skyrim. ive tried everything ive reinstalled skyrim and vortex and all my mods numerous times and at this point i dont know what the fuck to do.

all up to date yes same with the game its just this mod that i have issues with in mcm now

I assume you use AE. If so, could it be incompatible?  It wouldn't be the first, and it certainly won't be the last

It's better that way. As mentioned, it is not new that AE has problems with mods, forcing, in fact, almost always to perform the Downgrade to solve

I'm having this exact same issue, it worked realy well before, but with my new install the mod just won't show up on mcm.

i'm not using the ae version nor a downgraded game, it's the same old SE. No idea what it might be.

have you tried if there is an Update of the mod?

In case, have you tried an older version instead?

Yeah, an older version might work, the last time i've downloaded the mod i think it was last year, but i don't know how to get an older version, the mod page only have the most up to date file.

If you have it stored somewhere, you should still have the zip

It seems like a lot of users are having troubles with the MCM not showing up. The scripts need to be recompiled for a newer version of NIO. I had to download this fix in the support thread.

OMG! It worked!

 

Turns out changing the File "WetFunctionMCM.pex" + Moving the ESP to top load order + New save have fixed for me.

 

I was almost givig up. Thank you for showing me this fix. You`re the best haha.
