help sexlab in game install option not working

I'm fairly new to modding and for the past couple of days I've been trying to install sexlab onto Skyrim using vortex. I've followed videos and tutorials but struggling on what to do now. I have the basics downloaded and I'm at the stage where I install updates on the in game sex lab menu, however I cant interact with it. I click on "install updates" and nothing happens. please someone help me I've been trying to get this to work for days.

Same issue, all prerequisite checks are grayed out and it says "read me?" at the bottom.

Normally after clicking the install update part, all you have to do is return to your game and you would see some pop ups on the top of your screen, in the same place where is displayed game infos like "you have unspent skill points" or "you're carrying too much to run". Did you see this, or not ? I assume you're using the last version of sexlab.

 

Also I would mostly recommend using Mod Organizer 2, but if you don't plan to install a lot of mods Vortex is still fine and you can stick with it.

i didnt see that at all. i interact with it, however its as if im clicking nothing. deffo no messages almost as if its greyed out

i dont think i have the skyrim legendary patch.. is that required? ill post a screenshot of what i have installed

I checked for regular skyrim, since it's the one i use, it might be different for the se version

also the unofficial isn't a strong requirement, but it can help in general

yeah everything is adapted to the special edition. i dont really know what to do ive been struggling with this for so long. theres just no interaction on the in game lovers lab menu. do i need an older version of skyrim?

Normally with the se version of sexlab it should be fine...

Is there an installation guide you know of that you could link so I can double check to see if I’ve done everything right. I honestly don’t know what the problem could be

i would say the mod desc should be prioritized, it's the one that is meant to work anytime

sexlabse also requires an fnis update and you should have the requirements indicated on the update section too

 

if it really isn't working, then i suggest you try with Mod organizer 2, it's a more viable mod installer (again, vortex isn't bad, but this one is just betetr)

Mine is solved anyway, i was using the sexlab for SE when I needed the sexlab for AE

oh i just mean, before using videos make sure you read the entire description of the mod, especially for an important one all the required infos are there

I see in the screenshot that you have Sexlab 1.63, I think you might need 1.64, the version for Anniversary edition instead of 1.63, the sexlab version for Special Edition.

can i also ask the recommended nude mod for characters

just go with cbbe or unp bodies, and bodyslide. although it might need the help of people who knows more about it, but that's already a base ^^

and don't forget to always run fnis when you install new animations mods (i know you will)
