Can't get bodytalk v3 to show up in bodyslide

I downloaded the skeleton and every thing it said I needed. But I can't get it to show up in bodyslide. I have tried reactivation and redownloading it multiple times with no luck. I'm at a loss

How did you install it? Manual or Vortex? Please tell me you didn't use Nexus Mod Manager.
I'd suggest an automatic install through Vortex, make sure to install the extra files. No extra files means no customizing in BodySlide, it's not automatic, sadly.
If you did do that, I highly suggest checking BodySlide to make sure you didn't accidentally limit your preset search to CBBE or FusionGirl or something along those lines.

What would be the best course of action for someone who did use Nexus with MO2? I'd really prefer not to start from scratch.

I honestly don't know, but I know I had to do that a few years ago due to a similar problem
NMM tends to corrupt mods you download is the problem
