Nude male mod with clothing compatibility

As you may know from http://www.loverslab.com/topic/18870-fur-armor-body-suit/ I'm having a bit of trouble with certain male outfits.  Now, correct me, if I'm wrong, but it might be because I am using a male body mod while using male vanilla clothing (females are fine because clothing and body are UNP).  With that in mind, does anyone have any suggestions about which male body mod to use with compatible clothing?
