Asking the author for the permission to send you a copy of it without accesing steam probably causes more trouble than using the option you already found.

nodata12 Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 you mean using a pirated copy of skyrim? or me uploading the file. i don't see a problem in uploading the file and that's because there are many and many files reuploaded here. from other authors such as files from the nexus. if it is against the rules a mod may remove the link.
