Is there any courses about how to make custom poses? I want to learn but now I have no clue. I don't know where to get started

I only know that you can use CheatEngine to modify the pose, you may be able to find the answer you are looking for with a google search. I also don't know how to use it.

import your mod's vb/ib model into Blender, pose it, assign all weights to chest/neck/head bones only, then export.
this method is faster than CheatEngine, but needs enough experience in 3D modeling.

Can you please explain in detail how to export poses back? I watched DarkStarSword video on YT, I noticed that he used added vs-cb2 params to load bones and pose that was captured in dump to Blender. I don't have experience with bones in Blender yet. But I tried to export back part of the body with the pose from dump just to see what happens, and it was a mess. I've been trying to learn how to work with poses in this game for long time, but it's hard to figure out everything on own without clear guide.

It looks like one of the poses available in the shop. Did you just edit leg or tried to create a new pose and import it to the game?

1. Import model into Blender.
2. Duplicate it. The first one is for backup (to be used in step 4), and the second one is for editing.
3. Edit model to fit your favorite pose. Delete all vertex groups to delete weights.
4. Transfer original weights from the backup model to the edited model, by adding Data Transfer Modifier.

- Source: backup model
- Vertex Data: Yes
   - Vertex Group: Yes
   - Mapping: Nearest Face Interpolated

With this config, press Generate Data Layers button to init vertex groups, then apply the modifier.

 

5. In Edit Mode or Weight Paint mode, do Limit Total (Limit: 12) and Normalize All (Lock Active: No).

6. In Weight Paint mode, fix weights. For example, if you edited right leg direction, you have to clear right leg's weights and paint Waist bone's weight.
7. Again, do Limit Total and Normalize All, done.

 

In fact, above method can be used in any games (but typical games use bone limit = 4 or 8).
