Texture Problem with Shirt

So I'm just kinda dabbling around with modding. I'm try to shorten a polo shirt to fix some clipping issues I have with other clothing, but after I modified the mesh and replaced it I"m getting an extra shirt showing under the original. I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Hoping this is a common issue with a simple fix.
