KoolHndLuke Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 I've been trying to copy some of the physics on hair from the mod and have had some success. However, I've got a couple of problems I haven't quite worked out. A) The hair has physics, but no collision. How to fix this? The wigs, for instance, you build with a body reference I think so that they have collision. Is this what I need to do? B) Second is obvious from the SS. Something's missing and I've got no color. Thanks in advance.
anjenthedog Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Some of the hair mods also include collision models for Bodyslide. Afaik, you build one of those collision models as well as fitting your wigs.
TheWilloughbian Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 You'll need to edit the hair tint color manually in the BSLightingShaderProperty. You can just enter the values from another wig that has the color you want : )

KoolHndLuke Posted March 25, 2022 Author Posted March 25, 2022 Thanks guys. Tried fixing the collision, but nothing so far. Gonna have to look at it some more. Will try fixing the color now.
TheWilloughbian Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 Your collision could also be an xml issue. My knowledge of that is very limited though.
theblindbat Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Also, afaik, collision (KS Hair) is with the body only, not the armor. So it will clip through armor if it's thick enough or protrudes outward.
anjenthedog Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 good point theblindbat. I'd forgotten about that. I wonder if you can play with the collisions model in Bodyslide to give it a padding broader/fatter than the naked body, so when clothed, it'd give that needed extra space (although it might look weird when naked). (like a shell 2-3 inches thicker than the body, if you see where I'm going)
