How to put a lamp on a fence post.  Use Ctrl, Shift & C, then type testingcheats on, next type bb.moveobjects on, then pick a lamp, you may need to click on the lamp again.  Hold down Alt, and tap the 9 button to move up the lamp.  Put the lamp on the fence post.  I like using the small outside lamps, but you can try the other table or floor lamps.  You can change the size of the lamp by holding down Alt. and taping the [ or ] bracket buttons.  The legs of some of the large outside lamps and floor lamps will stick out of the fence post.  I haven't tried the wall lamps yet.
