so got all my AAF mods installed. been playing for like 8-9 hours. everything is running smoother than ever. for the first time ever playing with mods i actually got an achievement! idk which mod made that happen but i installed all the mods from the AAF go to page. but then it happened. I brought 5 males with me to the slave market in concord to sell. i sold them. fps was awful then game crashed. now no matter when i load my game i get a message that mods are installed and trophies disabled. which is fine because thats how it always is. but now i cant even be in game for 10 seconds before it CTD's. Any clue as to wth happened??? Buffout says its working but theres no crash logs. What caused me to get achievements? what caused me to not? Im going to start a new game and see but in the meantime...i need your help.

Oh hi,  you were the one we were trying to help this morning in the AAF discord.  As we discussed there, you may need to check your buffout install, as it is the mod that is allowing Achievements to work, helps prevent crashes and provides crash logs when there is a crash to desktop that it can detect.  Instructions were pasted by a command in the discord if you scroll up to the time we were talking and look for the bot where it says Buffout4 Installation. 

 

The other thing that was recommended is to try reinstalling/repairing the Visual C++ Redistributable from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads.  This information is the last part of that bot's command.

 

Just go through the list the bot posted and see if that helps.

yea lol. thanks again. i believe it was UAP. cant quote me on that but after i reinstalled that.. thanks for all your help! I know i will need all this advice again in the near future lol
